The FSI Forum has been canceled due to Hurricane Irma.

Our Board of Directors and staff have been closely monitoring the troubling developments of Hurricane Irma all week. Now that the track of the hurricane is starting to harden, we believe we have no choice but to cancel FSI Forum, putting the safety of our members and sponsors first. We will be issuing refunds of the event registration fee, and they will be processed by the middle of next week.

Our conference Task Force and staff have worked very hard throughout the year to make this event a great one. We do not take this action lightly and we’ve never proactively canceled an event before. However, we will not knowingly put our members and sponsors in harm’s way, or potentially leave them without a way to get home once the conference ends.

Two Action Items:

1. The hotel has canceled all reservations in our room block. If you were still planning on coming to Atlanta for personal or other professional reasons, you will have to contact the hotel directly to rebook your room.

2. YOU must handle your flight reservations. Before you cancel your flight, please check with your airline and understand its cancellation policy. You may not be refunded for the ticket unless the flight is canceled – meaning your best option may be to wait until the airline cancels your flight.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. And, for those of you in the potential path of this storm, please take all precautions you can to keep yourself and your loved ones safe.
